Now...on to fulfilling the rules...
The rules state: "When accepting this auspicious award, you must write a post bragging about it, including the name of the misguided soul who thinks you deserve such acclaim, and link back to said person so everyone knows he or she is real. Done! well, except the bragging part. Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design. Or improvise by including bloggers who have no idea who you are because you don’t have 7 friends. Show the 7 random victims’ names and links and leave a harassing comment informing them that they were prized with “Honest Weblog.” Well, there’s no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon. List at least ten honest things about yourself. Then, pass it on!"
Here are the 7 lucky people I have chosen to receive this cool award that I would SO buy at a flea market if I ever saw it there!:
Becky at River Oaks
Becky at River Oaks
Gail beside Little Red Oak
Kim in Echowood
Theresa basking Under the Son
Juliann in Little Country Acres
Tifany on Rice River
Karen along Twin Brook
Now... the ten honest things about me:
Orange is my favorite color.
I hoard old metal things like a crow collects shiny bits.
Rap music makes me happy.
Closing my eyes on the porch swing gives me motion sickness.
I'm exhausted already trying to think of these honest details.
Ketchup is the grossest thing I've ever smelled.
I eat in a different room when my husband serves hot dogs (and ketchup).
When people talk during movies I actually wish I could slap them; but I don't.
I'm still allowed to watch movies with my family.
Llamas scare me. Am I done now? Yay!!! I deserve the old orange metal sign all full of bullet holes!!!!! (There, that was my bragging.)

It took me 1 full hour of internet time to fulfill the demands of this award. Dial-up!!!!!
Wow, you're fast! :-) Wish I COULD gift you with the real sign. Yes, these awards always take time, high speed OR dial-up. Thinking up the blogs to pass it on to, thinking up whatever list one is supposed to include. I only do them because I like reading OTHER people's responses!
I like reading other people's answers too. I usually laugh.
Happy Day to you!
Are you kidding me? Now I am FORCED to deal with my poor neglected blog in such a way that will require vast amounts of thought and effort. So....thanks....I think?! ;-)
But Sabrina. Is your favorite color REALLY orange? Nobody's favorite color is orange, or so I'm told. MY favorite color is orange!!!! I've never heard another person say that was their favorite color. I guess this is a sign of our true kindred spiritedness (is that a word?).
I'm exhausted out of my mind right now, can you tell? So very bored, but too tired to do anything. At least reading blogs is better for me than eating Doritos and ice cream.
Love you!
Oh, Kim...you don't even have to play if you don't want to. I will love you even if you totally ignore it.
Yes, my favorite color is orange. I can't resist it. I pretty much love all colors. But orange trumps. We ARE kindred spirits.

Oh, dearest Sabrina! I'm afraid my "winking" emoticon wasn't enough to convey the fact that I was just pretend-grumbling about receiving this award from you. Considering how pathetic I've been at blogging for the past ever-so-many months, I'm honored that you would deign to offer me this at all. That orange sign is TRES COOL. :-)
I love reading other people's answers to these kinds of things, too. I will take the time to do this---it will give me a reason to pay attention to my blog---and I thank you for it. Please don't feel bad on my account or anyone else's. It's nice to be found worthy!
XOXOXOXO.
~ Kim
Sabrina, thank you for the award, and I WILL respond! :) When I have a little bit more extra time.
