Oh Sabrina, I'm so sorry! I lost my heart dog over two years ago, and losses like yours still make it spring up fresh in my heart and eyes. They are gifts of unconditional love from God, but they just don't live long enough....

It has been hard. But thank you all for the kind words and prayers. Really, the worst part was publishing it here and having to accept it was absolutely final.
She had a good, happy, long life. I was with her when she passed away. And now I'm crying again so that's all I'm going to write.
Oh, she is so lovely! What a beautiful and faithful friend, and I am so sorry you had to say goodbye. I firmly believe we will see our friends again in heaven (we will have all we need for our joy) and they will be so happy too. Remember her with love when you can.
