Here are some close up photos of Boston Lake Ris-the lamb that should be Ag but doesn't look like it yet.

Where's that tongue shot??? Me thinks you may have to wait until his first shearing to see what you've got....

Sorry Michelle, I totally forgot about the tongue. Clancy wasn't too pleased to be helping so I was in a hurry too. (I called him aways from his breakfast.)

Wow, Sabrina, he doesn't look at all frosty like you would expect an Ag to be! Normally I've seen the telltale signs of Ag for sure by the end of the first week.
If he doesn't lighten up, you should test breed him to see if you get any katmogets or Ag's. That would verify extension genetics at work.
Very interesting...You're sure Kavan couldn't have done the trick before you put RaiMin in with Bombarde, right? LOL

I am very sure about Kavan and Allister being unable to reach Rai Min. But I've already been thinking that if I want to offer him for sale or use him, and he still isn't greying, I'll probably have to do a parentage test. I only have Bombarde, Rai Min, and the lamb to test though. Both Allister and Kavan are deceased.

Thanks for verifying that my eyes weren't playing tricks on me, though. When you think you should be seeing something, and you don't, you can really start to strain your eyes looking for it.
