Random Lambs

I grabbed Tecwyn the other day to get a closer look at those itty-bitty horns of his. Turns out he is the silkiest lamb I've ever had in my flock. Blew me away. I expected lovely fleece from his parents, but I haven't had my hands on this little guy since the jug. Silky, silky soft. It is almost cold to the touch the way fine hair on a little child is. I'll have to keep my eye on him.

My Little Love of this year's lamb crop...Esyllt.

Baby Brothers...Beck & Tecwyn.

I will be using a katmoget ram with very soft fleece this fall; I can only hope I get something as nice as Tecwyn and Esyllt!

I am sure you will!...your lamb crop is lovely THIS year. Who is the lucky ram that gets to go a'courtin'?

PS...If I had a magic wand I would turn Tecwyn into a ewe lamb! :)

Franna Pitt is buying Barish from Garrett, who is bringing him out to Black Sheep. I am bringing Barish home with me and get to use him first (I'll have to cycle my ewes with CIDRs)! I've gotten a fleece sample, and it is heavenly!

He does have nice fleece. I've seen him in person, but it has been a couple of years now. Congratulations!

Hi Corinne,
Wouldn't that be nice...and handy!
Hope you don't mind, but I put your blog in my list. I just visited you there. Beautiful and fun. And I just love that little lamb and dandylion as your header pic. ADORABLE
